Hi, I’m Gabriel!

A few years ago, when I was just 12, I raised over £250,000 for Save the Children with a handmade bowl. My story travelled around the world, showing that creativity, compassion, and community can spark real and lasting change.

Now, I am taking the next step. Together with my dad and in partnership with Save the Children and JustGiving, I am proud to launch my own charity, the GRC Foundation, with a nationwide campaign called CREATE:MAKE:DONATE.

I believe creativity is not a luxury, but a vital part of what makes us human. I cannot wait for you to join me in celebrating its power, its joy, and its ability to bring us all together.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

EVERYONE IS CREATIVE

At the GRC Foundation, we believe one simple truth: everyone is creative. Yet for many, creativity feels distant, a talent reserved for "arty types" or those with special skills.

Somewhere between childhood play and the pressures of adulthood, curiosity was replaced by conformity, and creativity was quietly left behind.

We understand the fears, doubts, and perfectionism that block creative expression, because we have felt them too.

Our mission is to challenge these misconceptions, demystify creativity, and gently help people reconnect with their innate creative spirit.

At its core, creativity is simply about being curious, and that is something we all can do.

OUR CAMPAIGN

THE IDEA IS SIMPLE

The idea is simple. Over three weeks we are inviting everyone in the UK, both children and adults to do something creative and to then gift whatever they’ve made in exchange for a donation.

STEP 1

Spark your imagination! Need a nudge? Take inspiration from THE PLAYGROUND our upcoming ‘lucky-dip’ web-tool that will provide a host of fun and simple creative activities.

STEP 2

Get to it! Make something bold, beautiful or just brilliantly wild, wonderful or wonderfully weird.
Draw, knit, paint, sculpt, doodle, compose, sew… whatever takes your fancy, but above all free your creative!

STEP 3

Gift your messy masterpiece to a friend, relative, neighbour or partner in exchange for a donation to the fundraiser in support of the power of creativity.
